1. About Pollinity

Pollinity operates an online platform where farmers and beekeepers find each other for crop pollination, with transport arranged through certified transport companies. Pollinity is an intermediary and not a party to the agreement between farmer and beekeeper.

2. Account and registration

You are required to provide accurate and complete information. Business details (registration number, VAT number, IBAN) are verified through official sources. An email verification link is valid for 24 hours; unconfirmed accounts are deleted afterwards. Transport companies are manually approved in advance.

3. Bookings and payment

A booking is concluded once the grower has sent the request and thereby agreed to the terms, the beekeeper accepts the request and the grower has paid. Payments are processed via Stripe. Transport is arranged and settled separately after payment. Pollinity charges no commission. With every payment the grower pays service fees: these cover the payment costs of the chosen payment method and our handling of the payment, plus VAT. The amount is shown after you choose a payment method and before you pay. The beekeeper and the transport company receive the full agreed amount.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation by the grower after payment: more than 7 days before the start a full refund of the pollination fee, between 7 and 3 days 50%, less than 3 days or after delivery no refund. Service fees are not refunded. If the beekeeper cancels after payment, the grower gets everything back, including the service fees. Cancelling before payment is free.

5. Obligations of the parties

The farmer guarantees a safe, accessible placement location with water. The beekeeper guarantees healthy, productive colonies in accordance with Dutch beekeeping regulations (the Bijenwet). The transport company carries out transport in accordance with EU Regulation 1/2005.

6. Anti-circumvention

Parties who have been brought into contact through Pollinity will not enter into direct agreements outside the platform for a period of 12 months.

7. Liability

Pollinity is not liable for damage arising from the performance of the agreement between farmer and beekeeper, except in case of intent or gross negligence on the part of Pollinity.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the Midden-Nederland District Court, Utrecht location.
